York is the Roman province capital of Britannia and is located at the confluence of the rivers Ouse.
York was where Commodus killed King Oswald, and restarted the rebellion on a much larger scale. And ended with the Romans fleeing and with the city in a burning ruin.
Historically the city was founded 71 AD, by the Romans, and the capital at the time was Camulodunum and Londinium.
